Every
Sunday
evening
for
a year
these
kids
come
to confirmation
to learn
more
about
the
Methodist
Religion,
and
other
crucial
things
they
must
know
when
they
become
full
adult
members.
Over
the
course
of the
year
the
confirmands
do service
projects
and
a confirmation
project.
Examples
of the
service
projects
are
food
drives,
love
boxes
for
halfway
houses,
and
much
much
more.
One
of the
things
that
every
confirmand has
to think
and
work
on is
their
confirmation
project.
This
is a
very
important
part
of confirmation.
On their
own
time,
each
member
of the
confirmation
class
must
create project
that
has
something
to do
with
his/her
faith
journey,
or the
church
in general.
This
is a
very
time
consuming
project, but
it helps
the
confirmand
understand
their
faith
journey
and
God.
We do
lots
of fun
and
serious
things
during
confirmation
training, but
the
time
pays
off
greatly
later
for
all
the
people
who
participate.
We work very hard, but it is great. The confirmands have lots of different things to do during this special year. For instance they go on a fun retreat at the beginning of the year. This is a picture of the retreat so you can get a good idea of all the fun we have here are some more pictures of our service projects, retreat, Peters walk, and lots of other times when we got together to work and have fun at the same time.OUR SERVICE PROJECT RETREAT AND OTHER FUN ACTIVITIES

Meet Anne she
is the girls creation in our contest between boys
and girls at our retreat. She was constructed with balloons and accessories
from the girls. Above there are also flags
made by members of the church that are hung around our halls. There is
also a logo to
represent our youth.
